The GEWI® Bar is available from diameter 12mm to 63,5mm.

The rib is orientated in the way of a continues thread, which can be screwed on the whole length of the bar. The company DSI commercializes these bars and proposes a simple and effective system for tightened coupling splices and anchorages.

The advantages and characteristics of the GEWI®-System:

The obtained rib during the rolling gives the GEWI® System a great power of adherence and ability of a continues screwing without transformation or factory operations.

Full load carrying cross section, no damage tp bar surface in the threaded area.

The particular profile of GEWI® gives a high resistance to dynamic loads

The GEWI® thread gives ability to screw another bar in a coupler blocked by a counter nut.

   
Besides the main applications in the concrete (Ø12 to 50mm), the GEWI® bars are also used as holder in steel and wood constructions.

The high diversity of accessories gives the engineer the possibility to adopt the system to the required methods.

The GEWI® bars Ø32 to 63,5mm also finds application as micro-pile and are ideal elements for foundations
